MUEDlim

MUEDsp limiter

A free true-peak limiter

The peak-limiting stage, taken out of MUEDsp — the mastering suite I'm building. Free.

Free. Just grab it and try it on your own music.

The MUEDlim plugin interface, its loudness meter running. At the top, the title with an ACTIVE / BYPASS toggle (set to ACTIVE) at the right. Below, a large amber INTEGRATED LUFS readout (−11.2) at the left, and SHORT-TERM −10.8, GR −0.6 dB, RANGE 6.7 LU and TRUE-PEAK −1.0 dBTP stacked at the right. A steady loudness-history graph around −11 with a dashed TARGET −14 line fills the center; a vertical true-peak meter showing green below its −1.0 dBTP ceiling on the right; and INPUT (+0.0 dB) and CEILING (−1.0 dBTP) knobs along the bottom.

What it is

Not a demo or a trial — it's the final peak-limiting stage (a true-peak limiter) of the chain I always master with, pulled out and made free (its finished form, MUEDsp masterchain, is in development). It catches inter-sample peaks and holds true peaks to a ceiling you set (−1 dBTP by default).

INPUT for loudness, CEILING for the ceiling. That's all.

INPUT
input drive, i.e. loudness (−6 to +18 dB).
CEILING
the true-peak ceiling (−3 to 0 dBTP, default −1).

Plus a BYPASS toggle (ACTIVE / BYPASS), for honest A/B.

Why it's free, and why I ask for your email

MUEDlim is completely free — no feature locks, no expiry, no paywall. I ask for your email only to send the download link and to let you know about updates (and MUEDsp masterchain). Your email is the price of the download, not the plugin. No spam, and you can unsubscribe anytime.
